A sightseeing tour in Tashkent is a great way to know the history of the city from Shash times to the Russian Empire, from Soviet Tashkent to modern Tashkent city. Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan; it is the economic and cultural center with the headquarters of many firms and trademarks. The history of Tashkent is more than 2500 years when it has the name 'Shash' and was a major city famous for trades. Lots of travelers and merchants came to Shash along with the caravans of the Great Silk Road.     After breakfast transfer to Shakhrisabz (140 km). Shakhrisabzmeans ‘green city’. It is a city in southern Uzbekistan, located south of Samarkand. It was a major city of Central Asia, today it is known primarily as the birthplace of the 14th century Turkic-Mongol conqueror Timur. Excursion. Transfer to Samarkand (140 km). Dinner in local restaurant and overnight in hotel.
